would it be hard to include a question for the build system in our bug tracker 
during the transition? It is not directly obvious, which build system an error 
occurs with.

There was a typo in the CMakeLists.txt and the test program was not run with 
CMake. The error occurs now for me, too. It vanishes, when I disable GMP. The 
error message is:
