Yes,
indeed is not due to --disable-dependency-tracking but to copyable entities.
I have reverted back my local copy of dune-grid previous to copyable entities (keeping all the other modules updated) and my project compile without errors.
The error with the copyable entities seems to be inside dune-fem.

I would assume that it does not keep track of the dependencies and one
might need to do make clean all to be sure to have everything up to
date.

That should be very unlikely. Maybe this is a copyable entities
problem? Could you use a debugger to find this out?
