I cannot look at the issue without logging in. Shouldn't the issues be
public? 

Currently I need to login to see anything that is happening in
gitlab. This means that none of the bugs reviews can be seen for
people without a login. That seems like a big step down to me. I
prefer open development instead of approaches taken by downstream
modules.
