[Dune-devel] Ownership of release branches

Hi there,
I'd like to clarify or at least discuss the ownership of release branches:
- When someone prepares a release, it is good practice to reduce any
interference in the related release branch to a minimum.
- After the release is done, the release branch is returned to a shared
responsibility, so everybody can back-port whatever they seems right.
- When someone prepares a patch-level release, they have the
responsibility for the release branch until the release is done.

Thank you for asking whether I am ok with back-porting to a 2.7 branch.
