[Dune-devel] Online developer meeting 2022

Hi.
I asked if someone hadn't mentioned some vacation, but you probably had already left.

I don't think it makes sense without Timo since he is the main person currently having clearly defined issues
with the present setup. So, we should try to find a different time.

As I already said I'm basically busy 27/3 to 20/4. So, if we can't find a time before Timo leaves, it might become difficult to meet within the next 7 weeks or so.

The annoying thing about this is that this pushes the 2.9 release to a much later date with all the hold ups this is causing for other development. It's also annoying that the 2.8 release has a very different Python behaviour to the current setup. Makes working with the release almost impossible for me and my collaborators.

Should we try for a meeting within the next 14 days.
@timo when does your vacation start?

Andreas

Hi Samuel,

just for the record, as I said during the meeting today, I can not participate on March 24 since I will be on holiday. I’ll be back on March 29.
I would want to participate in such a meeting to explain my concerns/suggestions and discuss.
But if it’s not possible to find another date, I will have to keep communicating through the issue tracker.

Best,
Timo
