[Dune-devel] Dune release 2.10 on Sep 4, 2024

Dear Dune development community,

Simon and I herewith announce that we will do Dune release 2.10 on

   Sep 4, 2024.

That release will include the core modules, the modules in 'staging'
(i.e., dune-uggrid, dune-functions and dune-typetree), and possibly
a few others.

Please try to finish what you need in the release before Sep 4.

There will be no freeze period before the release date.  We will create
release branches on Sep. 4, and run the CI tests on these branches.
As soon as all CI tests pass the release will be considered 'done',
with no additional testing.
