Hey Markus,

I really wanted to get this done before my easter holiday and it seems like i was a bit sloppy with testing (not deleting build directories radically), so you were right in asking about the commit. I have now pushed a followup which is tested extensively. Concerning your questions:

- I deemed it okay to only have a symlink where a CMakeLists file is present. I know this is not mandatory for all subdirectories of the source, but you will usually have one in the drectories you navigate a lot in/to. And thats exactly the ones where you usually want a symlink.

- I cannot fully follow your example, unfortunately. But as I see it this is exactly what you want (given you mean CMAKE_BINARY_DIR where the links are placed) You get a link in each subdirectory to the CORRESPONDING subdirectory of the source tree.

Best,

Dominic

On Thu, Apr 2, 2015 at 12:24 PM, Markus Blatt <markus@dr-blatt.de> wrote:

BTW: Thanks for the explanation.
