<p>@oliver, I lack the expertise to set up and maintain a mail server myself so I would very much prefer a ready-to-use solution.</p>

supposedly I (i.e. TU Dresden) can provide more server capacities,<br>
but not the man power to set up an actual mail server.<br>

[BTW: I note saying "Hosted by TU Dresden" somewhere in our web presence<br>
would be much appreciated.]<br>

If we are staying with Gandi, I volunteer to pay the fee for the<br>
first year.<br>
