Dear PDELab users and developers,

as announced some time back, there are now up-to-date Git repositories for dune-pdelab, dune-pdelab-howto
and dune-pdelab-testing available on the User Wiki. Please take a look at

http://users.dune-project.org/projects/dune-pdelab/wiki/Git_introduction

for information on how to get started with those repositories. Please note that the SVN repository will stay online
for now, but if everything works according to plan, new updates to PDELab will very soon be restricted to the Git
repositories.

For the developers: It would be nice if you found the time to quickly install Git and switch over to the new repositories
- it really doesn't take more than half an hour. If you're in a hurry, you can get by following

http://users.dune-project.org/projects/dune-pdelab/wiki/Git_introduction

and

http://users.dune-project.org/projects/dune-pdelab/wiki/Git_workflow_for_SVN_steadfasts

The second link his a *very* quick introduction into the necessary commands to allow you to use the Git
repository the same way you used SVN: Just simply commit to the trunk (now called master).

I'll put up some more links with Git tutorials and a page with a suggested workflow later today.

Steffen
