Okay, I now had Linus and René punish my code a little. As expected, they found a number of bugs, and Linus also added a test for nonoverlapping computations with a receding edge to PDELab itself, so that testing doesn't have to rely on dune-pdelab-howto.

The code works for me (tm), so I'll merge it pretty soon if there are no other objections.
