Details - I just tried to create a ALUSimplexGrid from an Amiramesh
file. The file actually created for Alberta. It is a simple
unitcube devided into two simplices.

AluSimplexGrid complains:

  Hmesh_basic::ascireadtriang(?) "offnet: grids/2dgrid.al

    Anzahl der Vertices:       0
    Anzahl der Makroelemente:  0
    Anzahl der Randelemente:   0

  -------------------------- closed.


  Hmesh_basic::makeneighbours(?) resulted in 0 hits, 0 faults, used
time: 0

And creates a grid with no elements:

=> ALU3dGrid(dim=2,dimworld=2)
