I just looked at the documentation of the TwistUtility class again.  I
think I understand what it does, I still don't understand its intended
purpose.  Could someone please provide a short rationale why this
class is needed?  I apologize for the inconvenience.  Thank you.

Also, if I understand correctly, you need the actual grid
implementation class to support the twist feature.  Not all grid
implementations do this.  How can I tell whether it is supported? 
Will the code not compile?  Do I get a run-time error?  Or just
silently wrong results?
