I wanted to make a suggestion here:
we should use a utility class which can
be speciallized for grids which implement
ownersFather... 
This can be easily implemented using the
Dune interface:
Codim<0> Iterator, take local coordinates of nodes,
faces, edges etc. from reference element and use method
GeometryFather from the codim zero entities.
In ALU/Alberta this is basically the only way to implement
it anyway; but at the moment codim>0 entities are cached when
Iterators are called which greatly increases the efficiency 
but would not possible if ownersFather... where to be implemented
