For me, getting SGrid to work for dim < dimworld was an academic exercise rather than anything else.  I don't see any practical application for that feature besides debugging the test suite.  Of course, I could be wrong.  Doing the same thing for YaspGrid would therefore be redundant, and any more complicated embedding into a space of larger dimension would cost run-time.
