Details - On conforming grids, writing out vtk-files can be very time-consuming (a 20MB file took approx. 15min to write out in a 2d example with adaptively refined grid, a 250MB-file took 12 hours). The problem obviously occurs during the output of vertex data on fine grids. The rest of the data is is written out faster.
