Sorry, I can't reproduce this bug. It works in my test code. Which compiler are you using?

clause 14.6.2 does not apply here, as the [] operator does not have a dependent name, the return type is irrelevant here.

PS: I'll close this bug report, as it is fixed. Further regression should go to a seperate bug report.
