File periodicworkaround.cc shows my workaround to compute correct global ids for the vertices of a periodic grid. The id is to allocate a vector vertexid of global ids. Then communicate is used to compute the minimum of all ids given to a vertex. Of course YaspGrid should be corrected to deliver correct ids. However, that is not so easy to do in the underlying on the fly implementation.
