Yes, the Grid template parameter is not really required anymore. But there is one consequence: It would no longer be possible to create a VTKWriter with only a Grid (which is actually only an abbreviation for using the LeafGridView).

If all developers agree, we could remove this way of construction and the unnecessary template parameter.
