Idea for usage:
1) make -si checkheader 
   checks all headers and only notes that errors have occured
   but does not exit
2) make -s checkheader 
   exits after first error and show compiler output
3) make -s HEADER=test.hh checkheader
   only check one header and show compiler output if error has 
   occured
