I like the idea - although I would not remove the method from the index
sets. Index sets can contain more entities than the view.
One question I am not quite sure about is:
What are exactly the entities contained in a GridView?
   One possible answer would be:
   all entities I can reach through the begin iterator directly, i.e.,
   without using IntersectionIterators or father, or HierarchicIterators.
   Of course the IntersectionIterator is also on the GridView so prehaps these
   entities reached in this way should also be added...
   Now the iterator returned by begin depends on a partition type -
   should the contains method do that as well?
