FS#220 - Is it safe to call method father()?
User who did this - Martin Nolte (nolte)

Somehow I vaguely remember the suggestion to add a ghost for any father of an interior or overlap entity that lives on another process. The semantics would then be: Ghosts don't have a father, while interior and overlap entities do. In this setting, no extra method would be required and Oliver's exception would be the right way to handle this invalid call (if the grid chooses to handle it at all).
