Somehow, I was under the impression that this task was settled in favor of Christian's solution (adding the directiory called 'dune' instead of a symlink). This technique has already been adopted in dune-localfunctions. Moreover, it does not blow up all the includes.

Anyhow, in case this is still unsettled, I vote for Christian's suggestion.
