In my opinion the only 'advantage' of makeLine() is that you do not have to decide if you want a cube-line or a simplex-line. IMHO we shoud wather remove *Line, *Triangle, *Tetrahedron, *Quadrilateral, *Hexahedron since they are covered by the other methods.

While having a unique index would be nice I'm not sure if we'd like to have a 4th representation of GeometryTypes. Currently we already have 3 ways to represent it:
1) GeometryType (dynamic)
2) the topology classes in dune-grid (static)
3) TopologyId (dynamic/static)
