actually, ALBERTA_DIM='$(WORLDDIM)' currently, but also WORLDDIM='$(GRIDDIM)' and GRIDDIM=0.  So either ALBERTA_DIM, WORLDDIM, or GRIDDIM has to be set on the make commandline or in the Makefile.am.

Or do you mean -DALBERTA_DIM=... is missing?
