I disagree. If I read this table, correctly:

gfortran e.g. is at position #2756 w.r.t to how many systems it's installed on. that's 6008 systems out of 91606 (or more?).

What might come as a surprise is that libgfortran3 is at position #614 with 39605 installs. That doesn't matter in this case, though, since having libgfortran installed only means being able to run, not compile fortran code.
