Hi Christian,

you might not be able to fix my stupidness. I had a comment in the 
middle of the CONFIGURE_FLAGS like this:

CONFIGURE_FLAGS="CXX=..
                  LDFLAGS=..
#                comment
                  --with-metis=...
                  ...
                  "
