I know. But the interface of PolyAllocator is exactly what I need. I simply requested implementing this interface through your suggestion to see how it works. The removal is, for me, a second step.

Moreover, I think that implementing the PolyAllocator interface is possible without any knowledge of the generic geometry implementation, while your suggestion means that the implementor needs this knowledge. Since I did not really understand your suggestion, I don't consider myself able to change the generic geometry accordingly (neither am I willing to do the testing). On the other hand, I guess that you will claim to be unable to change the generic geometries. So my suggestion is that you implement your suggestion through an interface you can understand and, if this works as expected for the PoolAllocator, I will consider using your code directly and removing the interface.
