Unfortunately, this won*t work. Our recursive algorithms for the preconditioner do not stop at the field, but at the blocklevel. Therefore having Field is no advantage.

Concerning nesting static matrix, I think this could be possible by checking whether the field is a pod and the setting the blocklevel to 0 and otherwise one higher than the nested one.
