Hi Christoph,

GCC 4.7 and the releases in the foreseeable future will still support the -std=c++0x option which will be an alias for -std=c++11. I guess that it is prudent to not change this to -std=c++11 too early. (And if the usual DUNE standards on compiler compatibility apply, "too early" probably means 5 to 10 years after the GCC 4.7 release.)
