Details - Most of the typedefs are something like

typedef GV GridView;

but some are

typedef GV GridViewType;

This comes as a surprise to many users, and even experienced users get confused quite often. We should clean this up. I suggest to go through the core modules and rename ([a-zA-Z]+)Type typedefs to 1.
