[Dune] Speeding up

Dear dune list,

I'm installing dune on a new cluster, as the nodes only see my home
directory but not the scratch space on the login/compile node I was
going to install everything into the home directory to make the
compiled libraries available on all nodes. The include files will be
installed in my home directory as well. Does this have any impact on
the compilation speed, i.e. is it better (and possible at all) to
install the include files on the local scratch disk which has much
faster disk access? Are there any other tricks for reducing the Dune
compilation time (in addition to splitting up the project and using
Makefiles)? Even the simple examples in the howtos take quite a while
to compile on my laptop...

Thanks a lot,

Eike
