Actually, I told how to do it in my last two lines of my comment above.
You have to decide how many processes you need and then minimize MAX_PROCBITS_IN_GID (but it should still be able to
hold the process id.) Then you will have storage for 2^(32-MAX_PROCBITS_IN_GID) entities.
