Do you happen to know the Paraview-accepted format for ASCII-NaNs?

Note that even with NaN read from binary formats Paraview behaves strangely (AFAIR if you warp a 2D scalar-valued field, any NaN-values will be mapped to a fixed point on the screen)

Does it work for +/-inf?
