The attached file removes the definition of the deprecated Generic_MPI_Datatype from the file mpicollectivecommunication.hh.  The corresponding test still passes, but still I would like one review from somebody who actually uses MPI.

The rest appears to consist simply of renaming the file mpitraits.hh to mpitypes.hh, and classes MPITraits to MPITypes.  Is that still desired?
