Ok, I managed to get Alberta 3 rc7 installed. With your patch, I don't have to change anything, works like a charm. Thank you.

For the sake of completeness: Differing from the installation instruction on the Dune website I used "./configure --prefix=<path> && make && make install" instead of "./configure --prefix=<path> --disable-shared --with-blas-name=<blas> && make && make install"
