According to you log the problem is that the buildsystem documentation gets built over and over again.

Would please try to build by hand serveral times:

cd /usr/people/afpfeiffer/test/dune-common/doc/buildsystem
latex </dev/null buildsystem; latex </dev/null buildsystem; latex </dev/null buildsystem

and provide the file buildsystem.log to your favorite system administrator as this is surely a problem with your system.
