One of the big benefits mentioned in the discussion is the integration with IDEs. Can someone comment on this feature? What needs to be done? Is it possible to create Meta-Projects for all modules (perhaps even including cross-module dependency tracking)?

Perhaps I should go through the old discussion to create a list of questions, instead of asking one after the other...

PS: I'm especially trying to evaluate the bonus features. I'm pretty sure that cmake can provide the same functionality...
