Hi Oli,

unfortunately, I don't know anything about git. Do you have a good (i.e., brief 
but rather complete) introduction to git?

Somewhere in the back of my head I remember that pushing property changes with 
git-svn is not possible, so I don't know whether this is a good idea or not.

Something else: Do you think we can merge patches 8043 and 8044 to the trunk? In 
my opinion, 8044 should even go into the release.
