It's deprecated without replacement.  This should give people a chance to complain for one release cycle -- if it turns out that it is actually needed, or someone comes up with a cool idea where it is useful, we can undeprecate.

Apparently nothing uses the geometries.  At least nothing that uses Pyramid/PrismTriangulation (the geometries apparently never worked since those two were contributed) or Cubes (christi rewrote that but skipped the geometries, nobody complained so far).  I asked around at the beginning of this report whether anybody needs them and got no reply.
