[Dune] Dune on OS X 10.9 Mavericks?

Dear Dune,
while we do not yet use Mac OS X Mavericks, we use gcc 4.8.1.
installed from scratch. including all the dependencies,
on our systems. Thus, we do not need to uses things from
macports etc.
If you like, I can send you proven installation instructions.
