Hi Christoph,
for sake of completeness the problem came from metis: it was built using icc. Thanks for your hints, they help me.
I don't know if this is the right place to ask this question. I'll try:
rebuilding ALUGrid 1.52 using --with-metis flag for configure everything works fine, but if I use --with-parmetis configure tells me that it will use metis.h and stop the configuring process.
In my previous dune-ALUGrid building I always used both the flags and even if configure answered me with a WARNING about the use of the parmetis version of metis the usability was confirmed for both metis and parmetis. What has changed? How can I use parmetis for load balance?
However, till know I have never been able to use parmetis method and ALUGrid, causing a SIGV, any news about that?
Thanks a lot.
Bests,
Marco
