[Dune] Google Summer of Code 2015

Dear Dune users and developers,

like for the last decade, Google is paying hundreds of 
students to
work on open source projects. Dune was one of the sponsored 
projects
two years ago. Last year we slightly missed a spot.

Until February 20th organizations can apply [1]. What do you 
think,
should Dune apply for GSoC 2015? We need good project ideas 
and
volunteers to mentor students. IMHO Mentors can be non-core 
Developer,
maybe together with a core Developer. Projects can come from 
Dune or
related projects like Dune-FEM, PDELab, fufem, UG, ALUGrid 
etc.

Be aware that the coding period will end on August 24th which
collides with summer holidays. This makes it tricky to find 
suitable
mentor tandems.

If we find enough mentors, I volunteer to manage the 
application and
be Dune's GSoC 2015 org admin.
