[Dune] Invitation: 2nd Workshop on Software Tools for Integrated Computational Materials Engineering

Dear Dune-Developers,

This is to draw your attention to our up-coming

2nd International Workshop on Software Solutions for Integrated Computational Materials Engineering (ICME)

which will take place from April 12th to April 15th in Barcelona, Spain
(see http://congress.cimne.com/icme2016/)

As 3D digital microstructure representations play an important role as input  in microstructure simulations in ICME settings (FEM,FDM,FV, Voxel) and a seamless
transformation between different numerical representations is most beneficial I would like to invite you (at least one of you :) ) to give a presentation (preliminary title) on:

"Distributed and Unified Numerics Environment - the DUNE project"

It would be great if you could address issues like meshing based on HDF5 data format, combination/merging of different meshes of different objects, mesh coarsening/refinement,
import/export functionalities for DUNE data/meshes and any other issues promoting interoperability between commercial and academic codes using/requiring different numerical representations.

We would highly appreciate your valuable contribution to advancing interoperability between
different numerical representations in the area of digital microstructures.

We do hope that you can accept our invitation.
