OK, everything works again for me. The logical volume containing the GitLab data was completely
full - for some reason, the container started spamming backups without deleting older ones (GitLab
creates a complete backup of its data every day and retains the last seven backups).

Maybe that’s a bug witht the new version, I’ll take a look.

Sorry for the long downtime, but I was away over the weekend…
