[Dune] Dune .so files

Hi

I have downloaded dune-common, dune-geometry, dune-grid, and dune-istl (as described here: https://dune-project.org/dev/downloadgit/), and compiled with

./dune-common/bin/dunecontrol all
./dune-common/bin/dunecontroll make install

(as described here: https://dune-project.org/doc/installation/). It is my impression that this should create both static and dynamic libraries. In particular I've looked at the dune_add_library command (https://dune-project.org/sphinx/core/). However, it seems that only static libraries are created.

I am using Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, and it has created problems with other numerical libraries (i.e. Galahad: http://www.galahad.rl.ac.uk). Perhaps it is also somehow preventing the creation of the dynamic libraries?

Is it correctly understood that dynamic libraries should be created?
