Hi.

In the 1.5x version only metis can be used. We are now very close to finishing a new alugrid version where the load balancing has been greatly overhauled. A new option is using zoltan which has bindings to parmetis.

Subject: [Dune] Question about Alugrid

Dear Dune,

I have recently started working on Hades (which is based on Dune) with
LSPR AG.

I am trying to install Alugrid 1.52

So far we have been using Alugrid with mpi and with metis, but without
parmetis. Can you please tell me if Dune/AluGrid runs faster when
installing Alugrid with parmetis.

Thank you

Regards,
