[Dune-devel] DUNE GitLab Relocation - Mail Server

Dear Dune Developers,


the DUNE GitLab instance is now restored to its regular functions[^1]. The mail server is now hosted and run by Markus, thanks a lot for helping with this!


[^1]: Caveats:

  - It is possible that mails going from our GitLab to Google will be lost due to the new settings.

  - Mails sent to mail aliases in the form of {user-name}@dune-project.org (e.g., gitlab-admin at dune-project.org, dune-common at dune-project.org, etc) are also temporarily unavailable.

During the course of the rest of the day these should be restored to its normal functionality.

Dear Dune Developers,

please be aware that the DUNE GitLab will be unavailable (up to an hour) between February 28, 14:00 UTC (15:00 CET) and 16:00 UTC (17:00 CET) as the we will be performing the Mail Server relocation at this time[^1].

During this time, you will be unable to access the GitLab instance. We will advise when the maintenance is complete and services have been restored. We apologize for any inconvenience.

What will be affected: GitLab
What won’t be affected: Website, Mailing List
