[dune-pdelab] Git repositories + dunecontrol

Dear PDELab developers,

recently I've read a lot of posts concerning the switch to git as the
versioning control system... and let me first of all say that I like
it very much :-)

Now my question from the users point of view: What will be the 
behaviour of dunecontrol update in the future -- will this simply 
execute a git pull? Or, in other words, for me as a user nothing
will change in using dunecontrol (so is my hope...)?
