Dear PDELab codevelopers,
as we decided some time back, PDELab is going to switch from Subversion to git
for version control in the near future. In order to generate a nice history import from SVN,
we need to create a map from the SVN user names to git-style user IDs. So if you have
directly committed something to one of the PDELab SVN repos, please have a look at
http://users.dune-project.org/issues/185
to make sure you're fine with my guess of what you'll want your git user ID to look like. If
you want a different one, just add a comment. Those IDs are not set in stone and you can
change the one you want to use for future commits at any time locally on you computer,
but it would be nice not to change them all too often, because it keeps things like git-style
shortlogs a lot more usable.
Thanks you,
Steffen
