I disagree.  Either we think removing the specialization is fine. 
Then we may as well remove it along with its documentation.  If we
have doubts we should keep it.  But then we should also keep the
documentation.  If there really are subtle differences between the
behaviour of the specialized and the unspecialized class there needs
to be a complete documentation.
